FG0807D Porcelain Veneer Tooth Preparation Kit(for High-Speed/Low-Speed Contra-Angle Handpieces)
The FG0807D Porcelain Veneer Preparation Bur Kit is specially developed for minimally invasive porcelain veneer preparation. The kit provides all essential burs required for precise depth control, enamel reduction, margin finishing, proximal contouring, and final polishing.
Designed for restorative dentists and prosthodontists, this bur kit improves preparation efficiency while ensuring accurate and predictable clinical results.
Bur Functions & Clinical Applications
1. G/BR-12: Used at the supragingival margin to reduce the gingival end by 0.3–0.5 mm in depth, extending toward the mesial and distal proximal surfaces and the incisal edge (window-type preparation).
2. G/EX-56: Used to create depth-orientation grooves 0.3 mm deep on the labial surface.
3. G/EX-57: Used to create depth-orientation grooves 0.5 mm deep on the labial surface.
4. G/EX-58: The bur length is up to 1.5 mm and can be used for incisal edge positioning in butt-joint and wrap-around designs, allowing easy depth control.
5. G/TR-32: Main bur used to remove the remaining tooth structure after depth orientation. Prepare the incisal edge with a uniform reduction of 0.5–1.0 mm (butt-joint type). For wrap-around designs, the lingual portion of the tooth structure should be reduced to create a rounded shoulder 0.5–0.8 mm wide (wrap-around type).
6. G/SO-20: The bur is used along the mesial-distal transitional labial surface to refine a width of 0.5–0.7 mm, remove undercuts, and adjust the proximal surfaces. Care should be taken not to damage the proximal contact points.
7. G/TR-D36F: Used for fine finishing of all margins, removing sharp line angles in the prepared area and rounded shoulder.
8. SH3414m: Use with a low-speed contra-angle handpiece to polish the surface and the line angles between axial walls. (To prevent heat generation from stimulating the dental pulp.)
(Note: When used on vital teeth, polish under water spray.)
