FG0908D Inlay (Ceramic/Metal) Tooth Preparation Kit (for High-Speed Handpiece)
FG0908D Ceramic & Metal Inlay Preparation Bur Kit is an 8-piece diamond bur set developed for cavity preparation in indirect ceramic and metal inlay restorations. Each bur supports a specific stage of the preparation process, from cavity extension and retention form to floor shaping, wall refinement, finishing, and polishing.
Designed for restorative and prosthodontic procedures, this kit helps clinicians create precise cavity geometry while preserving healthy tooth structure.
Bur Functions & Clinical Applications
1. **G/TR-22:** Used for preventive extension during cavity preparation.
2. **G/SF-D31:** Used to prepare the cavity retention form and resistance form to a depth greater than 2 mm.
3. **G/TF-D15:** Used to prepare the flat cavity floor for metal inlays, producing well-defined point and line angles.
4. **G/TF-D15F:** Used to prepare the bevel for metal inlays by creating a 45° bevel on the cavosurface enamel margin, approximately 1.5 mm wide. Side walls: parallel or diverging by 2–5°, consistent with the path of insertion.
5. **G/TR-D10:** Used to prepare the cavity floor and axial walls for ceramic inlays. Point and line angles are well-defined yet rounded, with no thin walls or unsupported cusps. Side walls: diverging by 2–5°, consistent with the path of insertion.
6. **G/TR-09:** Used to prepare the cavity floor and axial walls for ceramic inlays. Point and line angles are well-defined yet rounded, with no thin walls or unsupported cusps. Side walls: diverging by 2–5°, consistent with the path of insertion.
7. **G/TR-17F:** Used for finishing and polishing the cavity, producing well-defined, rounded point and line angles.
8. **G/TR-D36F:** Used for finishing and polishing the cavity, producing well-defined, rounded point and line angles.
