ADS FG1816D Full Crown Preparation Bur Kit

Full Crown Preparation Bur Kit is a professional rotary instrument system developed for full crown preparation in restorative dentistry. Designed for use with both high-speed and low-speed handpieces, this 16-piece kit provides clinicians with a complete sequence of instruments for accurate tooth preparation.

The kit includes burs for depth cutting, rapid tooth reduction, interproximal preparation, shoulder formation, lingual refinement, occlusal contouring, finishing, and polishing. It helps improve preparation accuracy, reduce chairside time, and achieve consistent preparation geometry for indirect restorations.

Suitable for all-ceramic crowns, zirconia crowns, porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) crowns, and other full-coverage restorations.
Bur Functions & Clinical Applications

1. G/BR-32C: For 1.6mm depth limitation on incisal edges and labial surfaces, and 0.8mm depth limitation on cervical margins and lingual surfaces (lingual tubercle preserved). After cusp positioning, connect the 1.6mm depth reference points on the crown surface, and complete 0.8mm depth marking on lingual and buccal sides. Align the flat surface of the bur’s spherical tip flush with the tooth surface, then connect all depth marks.
2. G/TR-39C: For rapid tooth structure reduction.
3. G/SO-20: For anterior interproximal preparation and interproximal space opening.
4. G/TC-34F: For preparation of knife-edge margins in interproximal slots.
5. G/SR-26: For preparing 1.0mm shoulder width and tooth reduction depth on labial and lingual surfaces of anterior teeth.
6. G/WR-14: For removing excess tooth tissue on occlusal surfaces.
7. G/TR-81F: For fine finishing of lingual fossae after depth setting on anterior teeth.
8. G/TR-D23C: Grind away excess buccal and lingual tooth tissue in the distal-to-mesial direction.
9. G/SR-41: Shoulder preparation on buccal surfaces of posterior teeth.
10. G/SO-31: Open interproximal spaces by operating from lingual to buccal side.
11. G/TR-13F: Create interproximal positioning slots via pulling motion of the bur. (Red marker prevents accidental damage to adjacent teeth during operation)
12. G/TR-33F: Labial surface and shoulder polishing at 120,000–160,000 RPM; interproximal shoulder preparation performed at gingival level from lingual to buccal side.
13. G/TR-D08F: Remove shoulder flash at 40,000 RPM; polish shoulders at 80,000 RPM.
14. G/EX-08F: Mainly used for incisal bevel of anterior teeth and occlusal finishing of posterior teeth, operating at 40,000–80,000 RPM for occlusal contour trimming.
15. RF3144A: Occlusal fossa polishing at 10,000–20,000 RPM.
16. RF3034A: Polishing of labial, lingual surfaces and incisal edges (excluding shoulders) at 10,000–20,000 RPM; buccal and lingual surface polishing at 10,000–20,000 RPM with 1:1 low-speed handpiece.
